I wonder if DMX is as tired of getting arrested as I am of hearing of his arrests. Earl Simmons, the defunct rapper, has plans to turn himself in for a crime he committed approximately five years ago.

In addition to his legal issues, ‘X’ is dealing with the breakup of his marriage. He and Tashera have been together for 11 years, but apparently she has had enough and is trying to pick up the pieces of her life and DMX just isn’t in that picture.

It looks like we can all stop crying over spilled oil. Maybe.

After 87 days of chaos, BP has stopped the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. Before we rejoice over this seemingly good news, BP tells us they cannot guarantee that no oil will be released throughout the duration of the integrity test. “A positive sign,” is how President Barack Obama described the progress, but right now all eyes are still on BP and the Gulf.

Snoop volunteered in Manchester, England and helped paint a wall at the Ordsall Community Center. Along with painting the wall, Snoop also played football with volunteers who were donating there time in exchange for a ticket to Snoops concert at the Manchester Apollo.

Way to go Snoop! Volunteering your time is just as valuable as donating funds. Maybe those people will continue to donate their efforts even after the concert.

That is what the producers who worked on Kelis’ album did. In a statement to Yahoo!, Kelis stated she did not have a record deal in place or the money to fund her record so she offered to cook them gourmet meals.

“[I told them], ‘I just graduated from culinary school and I’m cooking a lot and I’m pregnant’,” she said. “‘You can eat. I have a studio at my house’. That’s how my album got done.”
