Nine and a half years after the September 11, 2001 attacks that killed 2,752 people at the World Trade Center, President Barack Obama announced that wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden, 54, was dead.
A nation surly over rising gas prices, stubbornly high unemployment and nasty partisan politics poured into the streets to wildly cheer President Barack Obama’s announcement that Osama bin Laden, the world’s most wanted man, had been killed by U.S. forces after a decade-long manhunt.
Outside the White House, hundreds of people chanted “U-S-A! U-S-A!” and waved American flags. And in New York City at ground zero, where al-Qaida downed the twin towers, a crowd broke out into song, including renditions of “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “I’m Proud to be an American.”
Osama bin Laden was the leader of the Al Qaeda network that masterminded the terrorist network that executed the September 11 attacks. Osama was the worlds most wanted terrorist.

Good riddance to the Osama bin Laden clan.
At long last, justice has been served. We will in no way forget our loved ones as well as those lost to the horrible occasion from September 11th. And even although Osama may be eliminated, the battle versus terrorism continues. Let us observe the event, however let’s never forget. God Bless us Every one.
Random Google results can occasionally lead to great blogs such as this. You’re performing a good job, and we share plenty of the same opinions.
Thank you for this article. I do not know how I feel about this subject and the manner in which we (the US) went about the attack on bin Laden. I feel that it is not real. At least with Hussein, there was some closure.
OK, it’s finally over!! We finally found Bin Laden. A chapter closed for us living in the United States!
I just with they would’ve gotten their stories straight before they released the so called details.
Osama Bin Laden was ALREADY DEAD
I don´t know. At first I was happy when I heard the president say that Osama´s body is at USA possession. But when they said it was dumped in the ocean without releasing a single picture of the body, requests pop out. It all seems strange. I don´t buy it. I think USA can´t find him and decided too stage this before the pull out of American soldiers from Afghanistan start.
I don’t care how the US handled the mission as long as he is dead.
The photos need to be released because this was handled very poorly by the USA.
The Pakistanis hid him and took our foreign aid no more aid to those bastards!
People will doubt anything that President Obama says because they want him to fail. Any president that gets rid of that scumbag Osama is OK by me. USA!!!
It really doesn’t matter what evidence they release, these “doubter” bozos will find reasons to say it is just a “fake” or it’s “photo-shopped”. You can count on that. This nonsense will go on and on and on, just like the birth certificate inability. Then the bozos will move on to their next conspiracy theory theory. Apparently, it’s their life blood.
In wake of Osama bin Laden’s assassination, Republican leaders renew pledge to defeat a resilient foe.
I wonder if Barack is tearing up the White House looking for that old George W. Bush “Mission Accomplished” banner.
it is amaizing to me.
terriorist r destroyed from z world.
